А вообще уже неделя, как он вышел из привычного режима, перестал спать днем и ведет себя не очень хорошо, часто хнычет и ноет. Я уже даю ему в ручку погремушку, хватает бессознательно. Стал говорить „ма“.

22/II 81 г. Наш драгоценный любимчик становится все интересней. Теперь совсем разжались кулачки, он хватает свою одежду, цепляет меня за одежду, царапает ванну и рассматривает ручки. А сегодня он снял теплую распашонку. Трудно даже представить, как ему это удалось! Кроме того, когда спит, ручки уже не всегда за головой, а часто раскинуты в стороны.

Actually, it’s been a week since he broke out of his usual routine; he stopped sleeping during the day and isn't behaving very well, often whimpering and whining. I am already putting a rattle in his hand; he grabs it unconsciously. He has started saying "ma."

Feb 22, 1981. Our precious little favorite is becoming more and more interesting. Now his little fists have unclenched completely; he grabs his own clothes, hooks onto my clothes, scratches the bathtub, and examines his little hands. And today he took off his warm undershirt (raspahonka). It’s hard to even imagine how he managed to do that! Also, when he sleeps, his hands are no longer always behind his head, but are often spread out to the sides.
