Decoding the Doughnut Hole

Alright, folks, I told you I was a puzzle master, right? And yeah, I can totally knock out a 1200-piece cardboard puzzle in under thirty minutes, and other brain teasers? Zip, zap, done. Even dabble in some cryptoanalysis stuff, though that can get a little gnarly sometimes. But the toughest puzzles? Those are the human relationship ones. Those… I sometimes get stuck on.

Right now, I’m whipping up some borscht, chopping and dropping all the tasty bits into the pot. But my brain’s still juggling other pieces, you know? Like, what’s got you guys so hooked on my English writing? I’m not even counting my family – some of them only speak English, which is kinda wild, but hey, whatever floats their boat. But everyone else? How’d it click? And I’ll skip the tough guys with baseball bats; they’d swallow anything and it's not like I'm the main attraction for them.

Maybe you're just surprised a little kid can write so well in a non-native language. Well, prepare to be amazed, or maybe I'll spill some cosmic secret: I've been reading fairy tales in two languages since I was tiny, just, like, broadening my horizons, and, you know, gotta be able to chat with my relatives who wouldn’t understand me otherwise.

Or perhaps some of you are reading between the lines, wondering, "What if?" Nope, sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't have any super-secret, politically connected relatives. We're all pretty far from that scene, sadly. So, you're kinda wasting your time there, folks.

But if you're so "madly" gobbling up these posts, why not drop a comment? Got some jitters about that too? When your own kids write an essay in English for school, does something twist in your gut? Don’t be silly.

And just to totally squash any of your wilder theories, let me drop some knowledge about my fam. On my dad's side, there's a whole exhibit at the museum of professional craftsmanship in Podolsk. And my great-grandpa? He was a total OG in getting the railroad rolling in this region, and a co-founder of the first… well, let’s just say he was a big deal in transportation.
