With burdensome laws and with morals forgotten
You’re looking for fortune… that’s barely gotten.
With mindsets neglected, you watch for the gains.
Your faults are not there; they’re merely stains.
How loveless you are. And all folks are hardware.
You swore no fidelity; you didn’t care.
Your words are replete with fake-outs and deceptions.
Thus, people get farther beyond your perceptions.
You simply believe that you’re just so ideal.
But these air castles, alas, are unreal.
Somebody will love you. Sometime. In the offing.
But you will step over this, easily scoffing.
You’ll cover the pain with a pretty-faced jeer.
You are egocentric. A fault, it is clear.
Put value on people, not pretty-face bearers.
Forgive their sins as against to just errors.
With burdensome laws and with morals forgotten
