City streets are glowing, but I’m feeling cold, 
Lost inside the noise, nowhere to hold, 
Faces pass like ghosts, but none feel real, 
Caught inside a moment I don’t want to feel. 

And when the lights fade out tonight, 
Will you still be by my side? 
Or am I just a shadow in your mind? 

When the lights fade, will you remember me? 
Or am I just a memory lost in the sea? 
I’m screaming loud but no one hears my name, 
When the lights fade, will it all feel the same? 

Broken dreams on pavement, scattered in the rain, 
Trying to find some meaning in this endless pain, 
Every word we left unsaid is tearing me apart, 
A silent war that’s raging deep inside my heart. 

And when the lights fade out tonight, 
Will you still be by my side? 
Or am I just a shadow in your mind?

Maybe someday we’ll find our way back home, 
Through the darkness where we’re not alone, 
But until then I’m holding on tight -   
To the hope that shines beyond the night.
