Shattered pieces on the floor, 
I thought I couldn’t take much more, 
Your words like knives, they cut so deep, 
But I’m not broken - I won’t weep. 

I’ve been down, but I’m not out, 
Fighting through the fear and doubt, 
Every scar’s a battle won, 
A story told beneath the sun. 

This resilient heartbreak keeps me breathing, 
In the ashes, I’m still believing, 
Though the night is long and cold, 
I’m standing tall, I’m breaking mold. 
With every tear that falls apart, 
I find the strength inside my heart -   
This resilient heartbreak won’t define me, 
I’m rising up, I’m finally free. 

Echoes of the past still call, 
But I refuse to let them fall, 
Dragging me back to yesterday, 
I’m moving forward anyway.
