No One Remembers the Missing

A cycle of poems «This Is How We Disappear»

Silent streets and empty skies,
Fading names and whispered lies.
Lost in time, a cruel dismissing,
No one remembers the missing.

Shadows fall where light once shone,
Echoes fade, forgotten, alone.

No one remembers the missing face,
Vanished without a trace.
Lost in the dark, out of sight,
Fading into endless night.
No one remembers the missing name,
Buried deep in endless shame.
Though we scream, though we cry,
They vanish, and no one asks why.

Empty chairs and silent halls,
Ghostly whispers through the walls.
Every story left untold,
Frozen hearts grown cold.

Shadows fall where light once shone,
Echoes fade, forgotten, alone.

No one remembers the missing face,
Vanished without a trace.
Lost in the dark, out of sight,
Fading into endless night.
No one remembers the missing name,
Buried deep in endless shame.
Though we scream, though we cry,
They vanish, and no one asks why.

Broken promises, shattered dreams,
Silent tears and muffled screams.
In the void, their voices cease,
Lost forever, no release.

No light can reach their silent graves,
No soul remembers, no one saves.
In every shadow, hear the plea,
No one remembers, but we see.

Silent streets and empty skies,
Fading names and whispered lies.
Lost in time, a cruel dismissing,
No one remembers the missing.
