The Weight of Unbeing

A cycle of poems «This Is How We Disappear»

Silent void, a hollow ring,
Empty space where shadows cling.
Lost between the dark and seeing,
Crushed beneath the weight of unbeing.

Fading light, no soul to find,
Trapped within a restless mind.

The weight of unbeing drags me down,
Silent screams without a sound.
Lost in depths where none can see,
Buried deep inside of me.
The weight of unbeing pulls me low,
Endless night, no place to go.
In this void, I’m barely breathing,
Crushed beneath the weight of unbeing.

Shattered dreams and broken ties,
Empty gaze and hollowed eyes.
Every step feels cold and blind,
Lost within my own design.

Fading light, no soul to find,
Trapped within a restless mind.

The weight of unbeing drags me down,
Silent screams without a sound.
Lost in depths where none can see,
Buried deep inside of me.
The weight of unbeing pulls me low,
Endless night, no place to go.
In this void, I’m barely breathing,
Crushed beneath the weight of unbeing.

Voices fade into the black,
No way forward, no way back.
In the silence, shadows cling,
Haunted by this endless sting.

No light can break this endless chain,
No hope to ease the crushing pain.
In every breath, the darkness clings,
I drown beneath the weight of unbeing.

Silent void, a hollow ring,
Empty space where shadows cling.
Lost between the dark and seeing,
Crushed beneath the weight of unbeing.
