Don’t act like all, don’t play their part,
Don’t wear the roles that wound your heart.
Reveal the world within your soul,
Let peace reign, keep away all pain.

Do not do things just like the rest,

Don't Vanish in Another's Shadow Long

Don't vanish in another's shadow long,
Don't hide yourself behind a mask that's borrowed.
You'll lose yourself among the faceless throng,
And never find yourself among their sorrow.

Don't do just anything the way they do,
Don't try the roles that poison and diminish.
Unfold the world inside — so vast, so true,
And let your soul know nothing but the finish.

Ne reste pas trop longtemps dans l'ombre des autres,
Ne te cache pas sous des masques ;trangers.
Tu te perdras toi-m;me parmi ces autres,
Tu ne deviendras jamais toi avec eux.

Ne fais pas "comme tout le monde", n'importe comment,
N'essaie pas sur toi les r;les mauvais.
R;v;le en toi le monde, beau et grand,
Et que ton ;me enfin ne souffre jamais.

Не прячь себя под масками чужими.
Себя ты потеряешь среди них,
Собой ты никогда не станешь с ними.

Не делай что-нибудь и так, как все,
Не пробуй на себя плохие роли.
Раскрой в себе весь мир во всей красе,
И пусть твоя душа не знает боли.
