I d Ruin Myself for You Again

A cycle of poems «Your Kiss Tasted Like a Late-Night Regret»

Midnight whispers call my name,
Falling fast into the flame.
Every time I lose my way,
I’d ruin myself for you again today.

I know the price, I feel the pain,
But still I walk through fire and rain.

I’d ruin myself for you again,
Break every rule, fall through the end.
No matter how the world may bend,
I’d ruin myself for you again.

Every scar you left behind,
Tells the story of my mind.
Haunted by the love we knew,
I’d risk it all to be with you.

I know the price, I feel the pain,
But still I walk through fire and rain.

I’d ruin myself for you again,
Break every rule, fall through the end.
No matter how the world may bend,
I’d ruin myself for you again.

In the wreckage of our past,
I find a love that’s made to last.
Though it burns and breaks me through,
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you.

Maybe I’m lost, maybe I’m blind,
But in your arms, I’m redefined.
If falling means I’m close to you,
I’ll ruin myself, it’s what I’ll do.

Midnight whispers call my name,
Falling fast into the flame.
Every time I lose my way,
I’d ruin myself for you again today.
