Vasilich Visits Moscow Districts

Did you think that Cactus Vasilich spends all his time in the office of the chief manager, whom he is temporarily replacing during the latter’s untimely absence? Well, think again! Vasilich has no issues with mobility and occasionally shows up where nobody expects him…

All of this is more than easy to arrange at any given moment. It’s simple: the chief manager’s secretary, Iskrina Romanovna, picks Vasilich up — pot and all — and gets into the official car with her husband, Zvedoniy, who, as you may recall, works as a driver at the office. This, by the way, gives Zvedoniy a chance to personally vent all his thoughts about the Lada Vesta car. And Vasilich sees it all for himself.

If the car starts and doesn’t break down, they drive discreetly, blending into the general traffic flow, without any special signals.

Vasilich watches the route and the car’s behaviour with interest, offering Zvedoniy expert advice. The reason is that the spirit of Yevgeniy Vasilyevich — a modest office employee who looks very much like the chief manager and who has fallen into a coma — has taken possession of Cactus Vasilich. This spirit remembers that in his youth he was a passionate driver and also used to race around in a Lada family car.

Vasilich always asks Zvedoniy to take him to various districts of Moscow so he can see what interesting things are going on there. Vasilich is especially interested in the work of delivery couriers, whose activities he unofficially oversees. He closely monitors everything related to deliveries and sometimes even intervenes in specific situations through Zvedoniy and Iskrina Romanovna. Vasilich easily resolves any conflict between delivery couriers and pedestrians who happen to get in their way.

After inspecting Moscow’s districts, Vasilich returns to the office — if the car breaks down, then by tow truck.
