I Miss the Way You Ruined Me

A cycle of poems «The Night Won’t Let Me Forget You»

In solitude I dwell, reminiscing of old times,
Echoes of your touch still linger in my mind.

Each passing day reminds me how we used to be,
You were my ruin, yet you set me free.
Broken pieces scattered, shattered dreams entwine,
Missing you, though you destroyed everything that's mine.

Though you've torn me apart, I long for your embrace,
Remnants of our love still burn, leaving traces.
Pain and joy intertwined, bittersweet remembrance,
In chaos lies beauty, in destruction there's romance.

I miss the way you ruined me, wrecked but alive,
Fragments of myself, raw and untamed thrive.
Shattered dreams reflect brilliantly, fractured pride,
Deep wounds remind me who I've truly become inside.

Scars tell stories of survival, lessons learned in vain,
Embrace the ruins, cherish the pain.
Rebirth comes from ashes, phoenix rising high,
Grasping freedom, breaking ties, reaching for the sky.

Empty rooms hold secrets, shadows cast their spell,
Searching for closure, answers I cannot tell.
Yearning for redemption, seeking absolution,
Finding strength in weakness, finding resolution.

Ruins stand proudly, testimony of growth,
Scars reveal wisdom, triumph over loss.
