I’ve watched all — even cosmic embers glow,
I’ve known the things you’ll never know.
I am an astrophysicist, baby, I like to observe the Universe show.
I see the void spread far throughout,
I realize, my baby, that all planets will burn out.
Because of these thoughts sometimes I want to shout.
What’s here by me — can’t find for billion miles,
And when I look at you I see my paradise,
So I’ll never shout as long as I see your starry eyes.
