Frost's scattered sparkles on snow cover.
Transparent airy winter sylphs
put them inside invisible baskets
to make a dress for firm Snow Queen.
They tire off beads of frozen water
from brown branches of sleeping trees
to decorate an icy corset
with an embroidery. Sylphs speed.
They have to do it till the sunset
before they fade onto the night.
Frost rises the thinnest hanging icicles
to sew the dress in the full dark.
White master's made a gleaming satin
to emphasize the perfect skin
of firm Snow Queen. Small countless fairies
will sew the dress with icy needles.
They have just night to sew for Snow Queen
a magic dress to the new day.
They work and jingling magic tones
spray high above the frozen land.
