The moon arose like a pale skull above the land,
The fog creeps in, a cold and ghostly hand.
The crooked crosses dance upon the graves,
In frozen veins, the fear is all that saves.
The silence lies just like a deadly calm,
But from the earth comes out a hollow psalm.


He breaks his nails against the coffin's pine,
A scratching sound, a dark and grim design.
He claws away the dirt to end the gloom,
To flee the suffocating, narrow tomb.


Zombie shadows in the graveyard, howling like a beastly choir!
Zombies feast on bone and marrow, dragging souls into the mire!
Cries are drowning in the wailing, flying from the dark of night,
There are no heroes in this valley, only monsters, out of sight!


A sudden jerk, the coffin lid is torn to dust,
The rotting flesh emerges with a scent of rust.
Their empty gazes seek the living heat,
Their hunger's eternal, a ghoulish treat.
You came and broke their long and silent sleep,
Now you're the prey, and shadows start to creep.


From forest trees, the wolves begin to cry,
It's not a lonely corpse that's passing by.
A bloody swarm is rising from the mud,
They've come to taste the warmth of human blood.

The moonlight shifts the form, the skin is torn apart,
The bones are cracking loud, there is no human heart!
No man remains, they wait for more to come,
To join the dance and beat the funeral drum!


Choir of beasts... the graveyards moan...
Eating flesh... to the very bone...
Silence falls... with a distant cry...
