Я научилась просто, мудро жить англ
I learned to live in a wise and simple way,
To peer into the sky and say my prayers
And roam before the night to chase away
The worries and unnecessary cares.
When a ravine is filled with burdock’s rustling voice,
And reddish-yellow rowan bunch is muting,
I am composing poems of joys
About decay of life, decay and beauty.
I’m making my return. A fluffy cat
Is snuggling up to me and sweetly purring,
I see the turret of the saw-mill near the lake
And light of fire that inside is burning.
Once in a while the stork who landed on my home
Brings soft and distant noise to my indifferent ear.
And if one day you show up knocking on my door
I guess that I won’t even hear.
