Days are a little longer and all nature
feels, that the winter soon will pass the ruling rights.
The winter tries to gather weaken essence
to show its power, sending chilling frost by nights.
Days urge coming Epiphany to pass equator
of the warm winter to get gleaming snowy sights,
when powdered trees look like huge sugar candies
have been put into an enormous block of ice.
Days urge the frozen time to free dull heavens
from heavy clouds, putting them onto glazed snow
like steps for an enormous gleaming ladder,
which will unite the airy sky with the firm earth.
