Mark Epstein is refusing to let the mystery of his brother’s death fade into the past.

While federal investigators have long insisted that Jeffrey Epstein took his own life in a New York jail cell in 2019, Mark is doubling down on his claims that the financier was actually the victim of a targeted hit.

During a Friday, sit-down with NewsNation Now, Mark announced that the narrative is about to change. He told the outlet that “more autopsy facts will be coming out in February that prove” his brother was murdered, suggesting that current official reports are part of a massive “charade.”

For Mark, the physical evidence has never added up. After being the one to identify Jeffrey’s body, he has remained adamant that the marks on the tycoon’s neck did not match the mechanics of a suicide by hanging. He reiterated to NewsNation that the injuries “didn’t correspond to the way his body was found hanging.” To bolster his position, he has consistently leaned on the expert opinion of Dr. Michael Baden, a former NYC chief medical examiner, who stated that the evidence “points to homicide rather than suicide.” Mark went as far as to question the integrity of the Department of Justice, asking, “Why the charade? Who are they trying to protect?”

Mark’s skepticism also extends to those who were once closest to Jeffrey, including Ghislaine Maxwell. After Maxwell suggested in late 2025 that she didn’t believe a hit was out on Epstein, Mark was quick to fire back.

He stated he “wouldn’t trust anything” she says, noting that she “never saw the body or talked to Jeff before he died.” Mark seems convinced that the only people with the true story are those involved in what he calls a “cover-up” to keep the names of powerful associates hidden from the public eye.

The allegations don’t stop at the medical examiner’s office; Mark is also pointing fingers at the highest levels of government. He has previously alleged that an unnamed source informed him that conservative political names were being scrubbed from the Epstein files to prevent a Republican scandal. He even claimed on CNN that Donald Trump had a hand in delaying the release of these files because Jeffrey possessed incriminating “dirt” on him. “Jeff was murdered,” Mark stated plainly.

“I want to know who killed him and on whose behalf?” With February just around the corner, Mark is signaling that the world is about to see exactly what he’s been seeing all along.
