In a rest home

It's been a while
A game has come to end
I wake up tired,
But there's clean slate ahead.
So I stand up,
I have to feel at peace,
It must be a release,
Then I look into mirror to see-

Dark. It's all dark, flames keep rushing, closing in.
Is it my reflection on the other side looking at me?
Heart breaks in two, I don't recognize this face.
Such disgrace, distorted lines, a storm of blood from fractured memories.
Figure crumbling apart, glued together to be ripped.
Rest home isn't on the background, there's a room from coma dreams.
Is it real? Am I awake? I take metal rod in hand,
Shattering the broken image into thousands of debris.
