the Christmas postcard

Christmas time! O, Christmas time! White snow is slowly falling.
Time goes forth. Snow's going on, wrapping the small town.
The old church rises the high steeple. It's glimmering in snowfall.
Cozy huts have clasped the shrine, and they look like mushrooms.

Blizzard knits enormous caps. It insulates the hut's roofs.
Blizzard knits enormous scarfs, putting them on fences.
Countless pipes are throwing smoke. It spreads above the town.
They make thicker clouds cloth. Dusk makes old streets handsome.

Lindens stay and catch small snows to chain them into garlands.
Evening lits them gently up with small endless snowflakes.
Christmas time! O, Christmas time! Everything is sparkling!
Everything looks magical on the Christmas postcard.
