Soul of light
The only one who shone so bright.
The girl gave hope for those in need,
Who had no sparkle to be lit.
The hollow ones surrounded her —
But she was kind and glad to help,
They cried to her, they never stopped,
Demanding her to give them more.
The girl was strong, she smiled through pain,
Believing that was not in vain,
To make them happy, to protect
The ones who drained the light she kept.
With time her glowing got too weak
For them to keep abusing it.
They were enraged, they charged on her
And took away the last of strength.
That was the worst thing they could do,
With no light left the girl turned cool,
Her inner energy collapsed,
And made her dire, extremely dark.
The darkness spread around the square,
They ran in horror, now aware
Of what they've done, of what they brought
Upon themselves, upon the world.
But they could not go back in time,
It was too late, they crossed the line.
The girl approached them, punching through
In order to be finally fueled,
Yet ones she touched withered away
To never see another day.
And even those whom she ignored
Felt cold, corrupted to the core.
Their deepest flaws came out to rave
As they went nuts on what they craved.
The massacre begun, they killed
Those even whom they wished to shield -
For love, for money, out of spite,
It was a cruel bloody night.
The world was ruined by the end,
When they got things on their demand.
Not always goodness can prevail,
Thus keep in mind this tragic tale.
