The Shifting Picture

Sometimes, when I watch people, it’s like a picture that changes. You know, like one minute they’re one way, and then the next day, they’re almost a whole different person. And a lot of times, it’s not for the better, which is kind of sad. You might be wondering how I know all this, right? Well, it’s because I’m a puzzle master.

Now, you don’t have to think of it like, you know, with actual pieces. Life itself is like a huge, giant puzzle, and for a long time now, I’ve been watching loads and loads of people and putting their little puzzle pieces together. So, back to what I was saying, you don't even need to look far away for examples. I have a giant photo album of my sister, and when I look through it, I can see how much she’s changed. Sometimes, behind all the shiny stuff, there’s a lot of hurt.

Before the dark clouds came, she used to be so… bright, I guess is the word. It’s not about getting older, though. It’s about what happens. She used to seem so light, you know? Like she could float.
