My skin replies to signals it had planned.
A pristine shiver travels slow and deep,
A vow the body makes it cannot keep.
Your eyes undress me, linger, then ignite,
Wax turns to poison in the candlelight.
With just one look, you burn my last defense,
You take me whole, undoing all pretense.
I lose the thought I carried into play,
You move desire like a game of sleight.
You cast your nets with elegance and art,
A practiced calm concealing every spark.
You hide your fire beneath a measured face,
While lava coils, impatient in its place.
Till dawn arrives, betraying what we knew,
As crimson nights dissolve in tender blue.
Let masks stay on, let secrets keep their role,
