My Quest for the Dark Tower

I totally forgot to tell you something super cool! When I was in New York City, I went to this really important place, and you'll never guess where! I wanted to see where the rose from Stephen King's The Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three grew. It’s this lot at 50th Street and 6th Avenue in Manhattan. Except, it's not a lot anymore, haha! We only walked for like, seven minutes from Times Square where we were hanging out. And where that rose was (which, in another universe, was the Dark Tower itself – can you imagine?!), there’s, like, a tower now! It’s Rockefeller Center, and on the roof is this place called Top of the Rock Observation Deck.

You have no idea how it felt to see all of this. It must have been exactly how he felt when he finally got to the Dark Tower. No less! I found my tower. And it was so amazing because we already wanted to go to the observation deck, and my search and that moment just… lined up perfectly. That’s how it happens sometimes!
