The drowned star
It was so near yet so far away from me.
I tried to catch it with my arms,
But sudden wave has come and took it down,
away from me.
And then I dived!
The love was so sweet,
That fascination blinded me.
The wound was so deep,
That only death could make me free.
And then I died!
Deep... blue... soft... warm... will I ever be reborn?
Sink deep into the lake, chasing star before it's gone
In the swaying dark.
I do not know will I ever see the shore.
Am I forlorn in this liquid plane of yours,
My bewitching star?
Now I dwell in the rivers and oceans,
Seas and lakes are my blood.
Star in me is forever in motion.
Nothing can tear us apart.
Hear the cries of the stars that fall from the sky.
By the cold winds captured they are,
In the dark waters splashing they are.
Don't you dare to retry such a worthless attempt.
Leave your star in the depth of the lake,
Live your life without doubt and heartache.
Deep... blue... soft... warm... will I ever be reborn?
Sink deep into the lake, chasing star before it's gone
In the swaying dark.
I do not know will I ever see the shore.
Am I forlorn in this liquid plane of yours,
My bewitching star?
