White birch

(Verse 1)
A white birch tree
Stands by my window,
Covered in snowflakes,
Like silver aglow.
On its fluffy branches,
With a snowy lace,
Blossom the clusters
In a white embrace.

(Chorus)
And the birch tree stands
In a sleepy hush,
While the snowflakes sparkle
In a golden rush.
And the dawn, so lazy,
Circles all around,
Dusts the branches gently
With new silver found.

(Verse 2)
Moonlight softly glows,
Evening fades away,
Like a fairy tale,
Everything's in sway.
Snowflakes are twinkling,
Like the stars above,
And the birch tree whispers
Of a waking love.

(Chorus)
And the birch tree stands
In a sleepy hush,
While the snowflakes sparkle
In a golden rush.
And the dawn, so lazy,
Circles all around,
Dusts the branches gently
With new silver found.

(Verse 3)
The wind softly whispers,
Like a tale once more,
Snow dances in circles,
With love at its core.
And the birch tree tender,
As in dreams I see,
Keeps the secrets hidden
Of bright days carefree.

(Chorus)
And the birch tree stands
In a sleepy hush,
While the snowflakes sparkle
In a golden rush.
And the dawn, so lazy,
Circles all around,
Dusts the branches gently
With new silver found.

(Conclusion)
Moonlight softly glows,
Shining in my heart,
Birch tree, like a dream,
In silence, we’re apart.
Snow will cloak the earth,
Like a tale once more,
And the white birch tree
Will keep my love in store.
