The Bridge I Chose
When the bridge locked tight its spans anew.
I saw my happiness waiting there,
On that shore of light, calling me to share.
Without a shadow of doubt, I crossed the span,
To meet my fate, never looking back again.
Steel beneath my feet felt solid, strong,
Step by step — I knew this path belonged.
Behind me — doubts, the void, and endless dark,
Ahead — the light that called with steady spark.
No turning back, no road to roam,
Just destiny and love's eternal flame.
Some bridges part, some build for years, some fall,
But this one stood when others failed to call.
I chose my shore, embraced my fate's design,
And found the life my soul was meant to shine.
Long ago I made my choice so true...
When the bridge locked tight its spans anew...
I crossed to meet my happiness at last,
And never once looked backward to the past...
