For God is near — His love is shown. 
He sees each step, He knows your choice, 
And in His care you may rejoice. 

If we look closer, we will see 
The friends that God has sent to be. 
They share our joy, they share our pain, 
And walk with us through loss and gain. 

Though none may grasp the depth you bear, 
God knows your heart, He’s always there. 
And souls will walk beside your way, 
Though not all pain they can convey.
