Вы не пробовали слушать тишину
Вы не пробовали ею проникаться
Слушать тишину как тайну
Вы не пробовали тишине отдаться

Знаете бывает тишина
будто-бы кричащая о чём-то
а бывает просто тишина
и скорбящая встречается в потёмках

Поверите-ль есть просто тишина
Не проникнутая болью от обмана
не сожжённая ни ужасом ни злом
тишина...

Без смеха и без стона
она встречается нам ночью или днём
так редко...просто тишина
Поверите-ль

не каждому доступна вот такая простота
И хочется вдруг крикнуть -  Почему
мы не все умеем слушать тишину

Have you tried to listen to silence?
Have you tried to let it seep into you?
To listen to silence as a mystery?
Have you tried to surrender to silence?

You know, there is a kind of silence
That seems to scream about something.
And then, there is simply silence,
Mourning, encountered in the darkness.

Would you believe there is just silence?
Not filled with the pain of betrayal,
Untouched by horror or evil—
Just silence.

Without laughter, without groans,
It meets us at night or during the day.
So rarely—just silence.
Would you believe it?

Such simplicity is not accessible to all.
And suddenly, you want to cry out—Why?
Why can’t we all learn to listen to silence?

do not all of us know how to listen to silence?

to silence — truly listen —
to feel it seep into your skin,
to hear it like a hidden secret,
to surrender — quietly — to it?

There is a silence
that seems to scream of something,
and there is silence plain and bare,
and one that grieves
and wanders with you
in the darker corners of the night.

Would you believe
there is a silence pure —
untouched by pain of lies,
unscorched by terror or by evil —
silence…

No laughter in it,
and no moan,
it comes to us
by day or by night,
so rarely —
simple silence.
Would you believe —

such simplicity is not for everyone.
And suddenly you want to cry —
Why is it so…
that not all of us
know how to listen
to silence?
