I’d fill your home with gentle light,
Your soul — with warmth and calm delight.
For every question, every fear,
I’d be the answer standing near.
I’d lift the weight you had to bear,
And give you wings to rise in air.
I’d say, “I won’t abandon you,” —
Know these are words sincere and true.
All that you have and yet may gain,
I’d treasure, guard through joy and pain,
And weave the threads of fate anew
So life would shine with bliss for you.
I’d walk with you on any road,
Your hand in mine, a cherished load,
If only I could know, my love,
You’re near — and one soft glance
is enough.
