Are you guys ready for an extreme science quest? Haha, I'm laughing because when my sister was my age, she was already doing complicated ester syntheses. But that doesn't really get me going, maybe I'm not old enough yet, and also, it's a different time now – it's hard to get chemicals. Or maybe it's not even necessary to.
But you know what I can do? I can do any experiment, like, a really, really, really cool one, all inside my head! And I imagine it so real, I can practically see all the ingredients with my own eyes, smell them, and watch the reaction happen! And the best part? It's totally safe! All I do is sit down on the comfy couch, close my eyes, relax for a bit, and then – POOF! – diethyl ether is ready. Or maybe amyl acetate, or anything else you can think of! Those are my kinds of experiments.
