Two-Minute Warning
So much time was lost
’Cause of many mistakes I’ve made.
Please show me the rules;
I can’t find them myself.
Another one melted to dust,
Some people turned away.
Please don’t leave me alone,
I can’t think about anything else.
And you see,
You see
The things you want at the finish line.
And you say
To yourself:
Are you going down or are you going to fly?
You have a two-minute warning
Just to realize one of your dreams.
You have a two-minute warning,
And nothing can stop the clock here,
And it’s the truth, yes, it’s true:
To the goal line, so far and so tight.
Show me all you can do
As you play for the very last time!
You’re holding a place in your mind
For the many field goals you’ve made.
Please don’t beat yourself up
If you miss.
The story has begun,
And no one knows how it will end.
But there’s no place for falling stars
In history.
