Echoes And Laughter

Guess what? We have a poetry section here, can you believe it? On a poetry website, of all places! It's kind of funny, right? Haha! Actually, that’s how this whole page started. Before my sister and I jazzed it up a little to make it more happy and giggle-worthy. And if we do talk about, like, the sad stuff, we try not to be too gloomy about it.

So, in that section, there were poems my dad wrote way before I was even a thing, back in the 90s. You know, when everything felt super chaotic and messy. And, yeah, in some of them, he wrote about his girlfriend, the one he lost in Belgrade. Honestly, I don't really connect with those poems. I'm just… a different person, I guess. But things can’t stay the same forever, and we just decided to move away from all that sad stuff and fill it with our own vibes! It's like a continuation of his story, but through our eyes, his kids. Makes sense, right?
