Daisies

Поэтический перевод произведения «Ромашки»

The dream gave a smile as a crescent moon,
And the star in return gave a wink,
I’d meet with a dream by today at noon,
But was carried by trains to the brink.

And the whitish waistcloths of the daisies’,
Got stirred up in the fields of the night.
Their stalklets are firm but so crazy,
With the wind they so stubbornly fight.

A great number of people were passing,
With a number of times seeing off,
Unaware who they are and their classing,
And to sorrows they feel only scoff.

Pure white color dissolves through the country,
And it spills to the night its white milk.
If the birdie’s released to the wild tree,
Will it fly far away to its ilk?

Or the cage has the chest under hatches,
And my bowels it doesn’t destroy?
But I gazed after daisies on patches,
Such a freedom they truly enjoy.
