Crowned in Embers
Crimson light on fields you chose,
Ancient thrones and fading rose,
Ashes swirl where dreams dispose -
Crowned in embers, fire knows.
Storms have claimed what kings defend,
Glory’s spark is slow to mend.
Crowned in embers, I arise,
Burned by truth and shattered lies,
From the ruins I baptize,
A heart reborn beneath these skies -
Crowned in embers, I defy.
Idle whispers haunt the bleak,
Ghosts of victory never speak,
Iron hope now seeming weak,
Yet flames ignite what futures seek.
Storms have claimed what kings defend,
Glory’s spark is slow to mend.
Crowned in embers, I arise,
Burned by truth and shattered lies,
From the ruins I baptize,
A heart reborn beneath these skies -
Crowned in embers, I defy.
Melted gold on ashen stone,
Fallen pride now stands alone,
Pain and power intergrown,
In fire’s light the path is shown.
If dawn could cleanse these scars to steel,
Heal the wounds that never heal,
Would you return and see me kneel,
Or crown me with what flames reveal?
Final embers seal the throne,
Smoke ascends for what’s unknown,
In the glow I claim my own -
Crowned in embers, forged alone.
