Night descended, fierce and wide,
Galaxies I tried to hide.
Burning heavens, breaking through -
I fought the stars for you.

Shadowed fates and whispered cries,
Battles waged across the skies.

I fought the stars for you,
Challenged fate and darkness too,
Across the void the thunder flew,
All my courage burning true -
I fought the stars for you.

Through silver storms and cosmic flame,
Swore forever in your name,
Defied the odds, ignored the blame,
Hoping love would stay the same.

Armored hearts and battered dreams,
Promises torn at the seams,
Still I pushed against the streams,
For one last chance or so it seems.

If the universe aligned,
Turned its gaze, restored what’s mine,
Would you reach or cross the line,
Or leave me chasing what can’t shine?

Silence falls, the battle’s done,
Yet in my soul, you are the one,
Though I lost, and night is new -
I fought the stars for you.
