Night’s cold iron fills the sky,
Promises born just to die.
Scattered faith along the road -
Steel wings of a broken oath.

Shadowed hearts refuse to kneel,
Truths denied, but wounds reveal.

Steel wings of a broken oath,
Carrying dreams the past betrothed,
Through the storm and endless loathe,
Flying hard against what both -
Steel wings of a broken oath.

Thunder cracks where futures fell,
Vows were shattered in the swell.
Chasing hope through fire’s breath,
Sworn allegiance mocked by death.

Forged in loss, yet born anew,
Blade and sorrow cut right through.
Over ruins, I will soar,
Seeking what was lost before.

If I could forge the vow again,
Rise above this world of pain,
Would you join me, or just feign,
Or leave me fighting in the rain?

Ashes fall, the silence brings
Memories blurred by battered wings,
One last flight through night’s deep growth -
Steel wings of a broken oath.
