The Walls I Built Were Made to Fall
Midnight flames on broken stone,
Echoes rising from my throne,
Bravest heart behind it all -
The walls I built were made to fall.
Steel and shadow, secrets hide,
But every fortress cracks inside.
The walls I built were made to fall,
Crashing down to free my call,
No barricade too high or tall,
I faced the night and gave my all -
The walls I built were made to fall.
Layered strong with hope and fear,
Mortared by a thousand tear,
Through the years I held them near,
But truth revealed what brought me here.
Steel and shadow, secrets hide,
But every fortress cracks inside.
The walls I built were made to fall,
Crashing down to free my call,
No barricade too high or tall,
I faced the night and gave my all -
The walls I built were made to fall.
Shattered stone beneath my hand,
Light pours in across the land,
What once was strong can now withstand,
A world reborn, a heart unplanned.
If I could build them back again,
Would I embrace the loss and pain?
Or let the freedom ever reign -
And never face those walls in vain?
Dawn breaks through the crumbled maze,
Shadows flee in sun’s new blaze,
Strongest now without delay -
The walls I built have washed away.
