The Cu-Tea Love Story

She’s walking down the street alone
And thinking: ”I’m on my own…”
The tea-room lights are shining bright –
Calling to come for tea inside –
For cosy sitting like at home...
But She can’t  feel the life delight –
And sadly walks the streets alone
Through  gloomy darkness on Her own…

And day by day She walks from work
In dangerous and shadowed fog:
And always passing shiny light,
Because She has no one who might
Share with Her the joys of life
And save Her from a lonely smog.

And in those windows, light and bright,
All couples are sitting close and tight
And fragrant steam dance over cups
And tiny talks and chilling chats
And music vibes heard outside
And cheerful laughter till midnight.

She wants to join, but how and why?
She doesn’t want to sit and shy,
And look like others who are there
Surrounding Her in a love affair…
It’s hard for Her: her broken heart
Lost not for long its second part.

And in one day She came back home:
Had tea and fell asleep alone…
And in a dreams in a Chinese dress
Arose a Beautiful Princess
And ceremonially festive
Invited Her for a cup of tea.

Next evening, walking through the dark
In a foggy, gloomy, ghostly park
She was remembering her dream…
Then saw ahead the tea-room's gleam –
And casted out doubting wraith
By Call of Light, made a leap of faith.

She made a shy courageous step
Into the Oriental depth…
And met the Welcoming Hostess
Who dressed-up Her as a princess,
Then, after, guided Her inside –
To taste the tea and muse delight.

In the magnificent costume,
Among by scents of the tea-room
She was nicely treated as a queen
And was relaxed as never been.
And all the couples who were there
Smiled at Her, seeing Her fair.

And when She thought, "How it's wonderful,
Without rush, relaxed and cool
Just sitting here and having tea" –
She saw so handsome lovely He…
Who watched Her all the evening through
And dreamed that "They" became the “We”.

They sat and chatted, drank hot tea,
And shared delicious sweet moon-cake,
And He confessed to Her – that He
Awaited for Her for many days.
She felt the same when She saw Him
And thought: it wasn't a mistake.

They left the tea-room, had a walk
Through a quiet park and misty fog,
The stars upon them blazed and shone,
The moonlight showed mischievous dogs…
And peace and calm the sky above…
And loving Two who found Their Love.
