PART 2. ANOTHER REALITY
Day No. 9
CHAPTER 9.1. GEOMETRY
I woke up at four minus fifteen and quietly, so as not to wake Svetlana, I went to the mountains, taking with me, as usual, two bottles of H2O. Most of our seminarians were sleeping, being tired. But I needed definitely to climb the Dragon’s Head. I didn’t know why. I just felt that way.
Everything was the same as always: the night, the hopeless darkness I had already got used to, and the amazingly clean air. The birds were sleeping. Silence. Nobody around. It took an hour and a half to two hours to go to the Mountain of Wishes, where the Book of Knowledge was located and from where the descent into the Valley leading to the Dragon’s Head mountain began. If you didn’t climb the other mountains on the way. I needed to get to Dragon’s Head before sunrise, so I was walking very fast. The other mountains had let me go.
I reached the Book of Knowledge and stopped before descending into the Valley, the Valley of Death, as Sasha had called it. The path ended there. Apparently, no one went down there, and people rarely climbed the next mountain, but from the other side. To the right and from above, the Dragon Head was looking down on me from the right. It didn’t seem to be that hard to get there. I sighed and stepped down.
Having descended into the Valley of Death, I reached the first hill to be climbed, and stop in thought. The hill looked low, but too steep and without any ledges to hang on to. I turned back, but realized that I couldn’t go back. I had to turn into a lizard. I climbed up, pressing my body as close to the hill as possible, trying to merge with it so as not to fall. I had never moved anywhere like that. I stopped periodically and it was scary to look down. It seemed I was about to fall into the Valley, and once I even slid a meter back, when there was only a little bit left to the top of the hill.
Having recovered my breath at the top, I confidently stepped up to the beginning of the ridge of the mountain range leading to the Dragon’s Head, which was already looking down on me with interest from the right. There was not a soul around. Silence. Darkness. There was still time before sunrise, perhaps I had a chance to reach the Head in time. I had to.
Finally, I was at the ridge. Now the range seemed to me much longer and steeper than we had seen it with RAM from afar on the Mountain of Wishes. A narrow, barely noticeable path appeared in the distance and led somewhere, skirting the ridge on the left, from the back side of the mountain.
I reached the path and tried to follow it. The backside of the Dragon was quite steep. The mountain was the highest of all around. Even the mountains to the left, which we couldn’t see with RAM, because they were behind the Dragon’s Head, although not like the previous ones, were still a level lower.
Sometimes I had to cling to the body of the Dragon in order not to fall into the abyss. I was afraid of heights. I needed someone to be nearby. There used to be someone, Sasha, for example. He used to grab my hand, and the fear went away. That morning I was alone.
On the way I met huge rocks, more and more of them. The path suddenly disappeared. There were still about four small ascents and descents to the top left. I tried to see the Three Wishing Trees that grew right on the Dragon’s Head, but I couldn’t. I didn’t even see what was beyond the next peak.
I was climbing up the rocks. There was no horizontal plane to catch my breath. The ridge was very narrow, both on the left and on the right, almost at arm’s length, there was a cliff into the abyss: on the right – into the Valley of Death, on the left – I didn’t know which one. I was tired and drank H2O. I looked at the Mountain of Wishes and at the Valley of Death. The way I had walked seemed incredible, even more incredible was the thought that I would still reach the Dragon’s Head looking down on me. True, that moment it was no longer looking at me, because I felt like being somewhere on the Dragon’s Neck.
I climbed the next peak of the ridge and froze from what I saw. In front of me, up to the next peak, there was a whole library! Yes, yes, yes, a mountain of stone books stuck out from everywhere, and there was not a single place where I could stand without touching their pages.
I was carefully walking among the books, asking their forgiveness, bending down and stroking their pages with my hands. The Three Wishing Trees were already visible in the distance. My heart began to flutter with joy. I gathered the rest of my strength and, having overcome the last peak, I found myself on the Dragon’s Head.
The small platform of the Head wouldn’t be able to accommodate all the seminarians. I approached the Three Trees. They were quite small. I stroked them. Two of the Trees seemed withered, and the Third Tree had a few green branches growing from the middle of the trunk. I watered the Trees with my H2O, not leaving myself a drop for the way back. I knew that God would definitely send me someone of ours with water if I was thirsty.
I mentally pronounced a very, very earthly desire for the earthly love, probably even ridiculous for them to listen to, and went around the Trees clockwise three times. I sat next to them. Far, far away and a level below, there was the Mountain of Wishes. I noticed three moving dots, our seminarians who had gained their strength for a trip to the mountains. They started shouting something. There, in the mountains, everyone used to shout out their own. Of course, they didn’t see me. They didn’t even know I was there.
I didn’t feel like shouting out. It was an amazing and incomparable feeling to sit alone on the top of a mountain waiting for the dawn. The Sun was about to emerge from the horizon. Down there, far below, the unknown city was peacefully sleeping. The wind was strong. I took out my camera and tried to take a picture of myself with my arm outstretched in front of me against the background of the Three Trees as a keepsake.
Then the Sun woke up. I really didn’t want to go back. I lay down in a pentagram and looked at the Sky merging with it.
***
Returning to the hotel along the main road, I heard a familiar voice behind me.
“Daphne, hi! Where have you been that we haven’t see you?”
“On the Dragon’s Head…”
“Are you serious?! I thought you were kidding! How did you get there? There is no road, no path! Daphne, my God, you are crazy!”
“I can’t believe it myself. At some point, it even seemed that I would not make it. You know, Sasha, there is a whole Library there, a lot of books.”
“Like the Book of Knowledge?”
“Yes…”
“Have you seen the Trees?”
“Yes. I watered them from our bottles. I don’t understand how people manage to carry water from the city there.”
“I look at you and think: how did you, such a tiny Daphne, defeat such a huge Dragon?”
“I had to turn into a lizard!” I laughed.
For a while we were walking in silence, then Sasha asked me, “You wrote that you see people in the form of geometric shapes, is that true?”
“Sometimes, not always. Why?”
“Would you tell me what they mean? We’ve got an Algebra lesson, but Geometry has passed by. Tomorrow is our last day here. Somehow I hate to believe it,” Sasha sighed, we were all sad that the program “Visiting the Fairy Tale”, the heroes of which we felt ourselves, was ending very, very soon.
“The Pythagoreans paid great attention to figures and geometry in general. They had a doctrine of proportions – equality of relations between values, the product of the middle members of the proportion is always equal to the product of the extreme ones. In particular, they considered arithmetic, geometric, musical proportions. One of the most famous was later called the golden section/ratio by Leonardo Da Vinci, who tried to use it in various inventions. The builders of the Egyptian pyramids knew geometry as well.”
“Don’t you think that geometry is just points, with which lines are obtained, and these lines form figures?”
“Well, the lines are different, they form different figures, each of which has its own vibrations and characteristics. Straight lines carry masculine energy, and curved waves – feminine. All sharp angles are characterized by rigidity, determination, firmness and activity, and being directed upwards – asceticism and transcendental mysticism. Remember gothic cathedrals or rocks. The hills are carriers of feminine qualities: softness, plasticity, flexibility, calmness, sensuality. We can say, everything that is around is geometric.”
“With what figure did this world begin?”
“First, a circle appears, then a point – inside the circle, then the point turns into a line, forming the diameter of the circle. Then a cross formed by two lines appears in the circle. Then a triangle, a cube, a pentagram… This is how the process of creation of the Universe is described in the language of geometry.”
“Okay, let’s make it step by step. The circle is…?”
“The circle is the most benevolent figure, because it has no sharp corners. Symbol of harmony, symmetry, perfection. Carrier of female energy. In the spatial image, the circle is a sphere, symbolizing the Unknown, Infinite Space of the Cosmos, God. It also represents Time in Eternity, and it’s a symbol of the cycle of existence on the Earth. You can close your eyes and imagine yourself shooting thoughts like arrows in all directions of the infinity. So, if you try to visualize the boundaries of where the arrows flew to, you’ll catch yourself thinking that the world is spherical, and the arrows formed an uncountable number of the circle radii.”
“Done already, while you were talking, a sphere indeed. Did you come up with this yourself?”
“No, I read it in a smart book. I don’t remember which one.”
“Okay, keep going…”
“It’s interesting, Sasha, that the concept of the Wheel is also often found in all religions of the world. This is a circle with many radii or diameters – spokes. In Kabbalah, the Ten Sephiroth are depicted as wheels or circles. In Christianity, they talk about chariots. The ancient Indian sacred texts tell us about various wheels and rings. For example, do you remember, I spoke about the Ring ‘Transgress Me Not’, outlined by the Heavenly Chroniclers? It passes beyond the area called some nebula in astronomy, although it’s not a specific locality and is not measured by terrestrial distances. The Chroniclers draw a circle around the triangle, the cube and the pentagram, as the border between the Finite and the Infinite, until the Great Day ‘Be with Us’. The Egyptians call this day ‘Come to Us’. Christians have the day of the Great Judgment. That is, none of the Spirits, except for the Highest, can cross the Ring until the Night of God.”
“Is there nirvana beyond the border?”
“I think so… The wheels are also different spheres and centers of power. The shamanic wheel of healing is a circle laid out with pebbles on the ground with a cross inside. Plato’s perfect circle is crossed out inside either with a cross, or with the letter X. In any case, the cross in the circle is a magical sign.”
“Do you remember, at the beginning of the Path, someone engraved the sign of the Flower of Life? It consists of circles, too, right?”
“Right. The Flower of Life is the pattern of Creation of all things in the Universe. It begins with two intersecting circles, is fully formed from 6 petals on the sixth day of creation, and it can be continued exponentially in all directions in a circle to infinity. Although it usually has 19 circles, not all are completed, but all are surrounded by two large circles. As for the circle, there is another interesting detail: regardless of the size, exactly seven smaller circles can be placed in it, so that none of them intersect with the other, but only touch each other’s edges.”
“Do mandalas always fit into a circle, too?”
“Usually it’s a symmetrical diagram, the plan of the deity – its dimension, or sphere, or abode house in Another Reality, often represented as a cross-shaped temple with four doors to all cardinal directions of the world. The temple is enclosed in a circle. Thus, it’s a cross in a circle. Stop, Sasha… The Temple of my Soul is cruciform, inside there are two corridors intersecting at right angles, right in the center, and each corridor ends with a door outside – four doors, and the cross is equilateral! Wow, how didn’t I notice this before?! It’s useful to talk to people sometimes, you can realize something of your own suddenly.”
“Daphne, I remember your Temple of the Soul… You see, people need you as well as you need people. It’s too early to leave for the monastery! Is the oval also a sacred figure?”
“There is a Latin concept, Vesica Piscis, translated as fish eggs. An oval sign is a common part of two one-dimensional intersecting circles, with the intersection area less than half of each of them. In fact, this is the mystical sign of Pisces, the symbol of Christ and, oddly enough, the Indian god Vishnu, who was half man, half fish. According to legend, he stayed after the Flood to restore the lost Vedas, saved his tribe in the ark, taught people to live on the Earth again and helped them for a while. At night, Vishnu returned to the ocean and came out to people during the day. He looks like Atlantean, right?”
“Are you asking me?”
“Okay, let’s continue. So… Christ had disciples, they were fishermen, ‘I’ll make you fishers of men’. I’ve seen Vesica Piscis sign everywhere in ancient cities, on ancient ruins, in caves. It’s a sign of mysticism, Saints and Initiates. It’s no coincidence that the 12th House in astrology is the House of Mystery, solitude, summing up the results of life, completion. It belongs to Pisces, Zodiac sign called Minam in Sanskrit. In general, the letter M was considered almost the most sacred, symbolizing waves and Water.”
“Venus in Pisces means Divine Love, right, Daphne?”
“Well done, you have a good memory. Subsequently, the magic sign Triquetra, or Three-petals, appeared. It was common in central and northern Europe, among the Celts. Initially, the word meant everything triangular, but only the sign of three intersecting Vesica Piscis had a magical meaning. Again, the sign was often inscribed in a circle. It symbolized the Trinity, the Triad. If you look at it more closely, you can see a three-beam swastika. However, the Triquetra eventually wasn’t spread around the world.”
“What can you say about circle people?”
“Ray is a circle, and my Teacher is a circle, too. Rather, they both are spheres. People are at first flat, for example, circles, and then they become spheres, but not everybody. Therefore, I use the word circle so that no one is offended. So, the circle has exceptional abilities in the field of hypnosis, neurolinguistics, magic. They are easily trusted with secrets. If you need a shoulder to cry on, go to the Circle. You know, Sasha, I instinctively always tried to find Ray and the Teacher in unbearably hard times. They pulled me out. In such situations, I don’t want to see anyone, except for the two of them. They never scold, blame, they always listen and comfort, or sit next to you in silence. They find a way to make a person go through another black streak. It’s very important to have such people around. Most circles are quite calm, unhurried, friendly, cheerful. They don’t like to quarrel openly or go into conflict. Their temperament is sanguine. They often don’t want to make decisions, waiting for the issue to be resolved by itself. They can be subject to bouts of laziness, tend to be overweight, like to eat well, and in general adore all sorts of conveniences in everything. They smile like Cheshire Cats, appear and disappear from your life with a Cheshire smile, although they are mostly domestic creatures. Circles usually completely blur the lines between business and personal, recognize the right to make mistakes, are good teachers and mentors, it’s difficult for them to part with loved ones, they have a craving for the past.”
“It’s interesting, I’ll think about who of my acquaintances is circle.”
“Now let’s talk about the cross. A sacred sign for all times and peoples, formed by the intersection of two lines. It balances the elements, Matter and Spirit, it’s the philosophical key to understanding the world.”
“Why is the horizontal line of the cross in Christianity less than the vertical?”
“The horizontal line is a symbol of Matter, and the vertical one is the Spirit, that is, the Spirit should prevail over Matter. If the cross is equilateral, Spirit and Matter are balanced.”
“If the cross is equilateral, you can draw 4 more lines to it, and you get …”
“The sign of the Swastika depicted on the foot of the Buddha. Derived from the cross, one of the ancient symbols, found everywhere in the East, in Sanskrit means ‘to do good for others’. It’s a sign of Enlightenment and Eternity, its tails are impartiality, compassion, love and joy. The two lines also signify the vital forces spinning in the Wheel. Initially, the sign is associated with the cult of the Sun. Outwardly, it depicts both what is happening in our chakras and how the torsion field is forming. The wheel must not stop. The only question is the direction of its rotation. In Buddhism and Hinduism, the clockwise way means Creation. In the Bon religion, in fact, among the adherents of Black Magic, and in Iranian Mazdaism, it’s counterclockwise. Thus, it carries Evil, Destruction, Death. This sigh can be transformed into a pyramid by unfolding the tails in space and directing them to one top point.”
“Tell me about your Egyptian Ankh, you were given in the Temple of the Soul, because it’s a cross, too.”
“Yes, its name comes from the Egyptian ‘nh’ and means ‘life, soul’. Egypt was then characterized by hieroglyphic writing. Any hieroglyph is a sacred sign. Ankh was placed next to the meaning ‘life’, and it was also part of the words ‘welfare’ and ‘happiness’. Ankh, it seems to me, is the most important symbol of ancient Egypt. It symbolized a lot of things. First, life on the Earth and in Another Reality, life of the entire Universe. Secondly, the Ankh form is interpreted as the rising Sun, since it was an indispensable attribute of the solar deities, including the god Ra. I saw somewhere an image of many rays with small Ankhs descending from the Sun to the Earth. Perhaps the Egyptians were showing that the Sun brings life to earthly beings. Ankh is often present in the images of Egyptian gods and pharaohs. I saw it in Thoth’s left hand.”
“Why is there a circle on top?”
“Ankh combines the cross as a symbol of life on the Earth with a circle, a symbol of Eternity, which together means Immortality. Ankh is also a fusion of Male and Female, in Egypt – of Osiris and Isis, the union of Earth and Sky, Material and Spiritual, that is, it shows the duality of the world, but says, that the strength is found only in their unity.”
“Who is Isis?”
“Great-granddaughter of the god Ra, the goddess of Love and Life. She was considered the sister and wife of Osiris, the mother of Horus. I saw her with Ankh in her left hand. When Osiris at the age of 28 was killed by his own brother Seth, Isis was able to put together the remains of her husband, cut into pieces, made the first mummy, gave it the breath of life for a few moments and became pregnant with her son. Isis is often depicted with wings, mourning every dead person, as she mourned her husband. She learned magic by learning the secret name of the god Ra. Osiris became the lord of the Afterlife World, which, of course, is bound to be closely connected with Ankh. The deceased were buried with the Egyptian cross to let them get life in Another Reality, not a single tomb of the pharaohs could do without the Ankh. It’s interesting, there were various items found in the tombs in the shape of an Ankh: bread, papyri, bouquets of flowers. Vessels were made in the form of the Egyptian cross, from which Isis and some other gods washed the deceased for his rebirth to eternal life. The souls justified in the Hall of Judgment, who subsequently lived for many more millions of years, received their Ankh.”
“But Ankh is also the Key, isn’t it?”
“A great Key. It was also considered the key to vital energy, associated with the proper breathing. The ancient Egyptian pictures often show that gods bring the Ankh to the pharaoh’s nose. But, perhaps, Ankh is primarily the key to the Gates to the Kingdom of the Dead, while, they say, Saint Peter was given the key to Paradise in the form of Ankh. It’s interesting, isn’t it? The same sign was constantly found on amulets, talismans, on the walls of houses and water channels. Ankh protected people from natural disasters and all kinds of evil spirits and prolonged life. The Egyptian cross was known both in the North, where the Scandinavians considered it a symbol of Immortality, and in Babylon. Among the Indians, Ankh had a close connection with the water element, among the Mayans it was a symbol of the transition to Another Reality, liberation from physical suffering on the Earth. The Ankh sign was found on the Easter Island statue. The early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, recognized Ankh, but you don’t see it in Christianity today.”
“I don’t understand, Daphne, was it a cross for everyone, as we have now, or only for the gods to held it in their hands?”
“Not only for the gods. Ankh, rather, was an attribute of the Initiates into the Secret Knowledge. It’s no coincidence that Maat, the Egyptian goddess of Truth, was always depicted with Ankh in her hand. It’s the key to Secret Knowledge, hidden wisdom, power and strength. In the Egyptian Mysteries, the students held Ankh over their heads during trials to ward off the Forces of Evil. The head priests, healers and magicians were called Ankhs. This magical sign can multiply one’s power to a supernatural, divine degree, but being used incorrectly, Ankh shortens life. You have to be very careful with it and not mess around, using it in fortune-telling and witchcraft. I think only the Initiates had Ankh, but I have to check it with my Moon Cat. I think he lived with me in Egypt then.”
“Daphne… Do you understand what you have just said?”
“About the Cat?”
“No, about Ankh! You said the Initiates had it. Do you remember who gave it to you in your Temple of the Soul? Do you understand what that means? You have been given the Key to the Gates to the Kingdom of the Dead and, perhaps, even to Paradise!”
“I like this sign, Sasha. I dreamt of pyramids as a child. I signed my pictures with Ankh. Something connects me with Ancient Egypt. I found my first Ankh in reality at merchants on the border with Algeria, made of silver and some strange brown stone, which, as I was told, is found only in Algeria. Later, I found another Ankh at merchants in Petra, a small, modest one, silver.”
“The key is valued not for the way it looks, but for the fact that it opens the Door you need. Whoever has the Key has power over what’s behind the Door, Daphne.”
“It’s enough about the Key. You know, they say that on the 40th day, the embryo has the sign of the cross visible, then a lotus, then the Ankh, and after that something similar to a human being appears.”
“And what comes after the two lines that form the cross? A triangle?”
“Right, the symbol of the Trinity: Spirit, Soul, Body. The triangle must be equilateral to maintain divine harmony. Once I was a triangle. So my Brother does.”
“What are triangles like?”
“They strive upward, they want to be the first in everything, they are aimed at success, victory. They make a career, being leaders, self-confident, ambitious, they like to command, are good organizers and speakers, speak quickly and clearly. They have a firm gait, a wide step, an imperious handshake, and most often an impenetrable mask on their faces. They look piercing, they can kill with a glance. They suppress the interlocutor in a conversation with their personality. Triangles gush with energy and hate boredom, slowness, waiting. Just lay it out and put it down, here and now. If they set a goal, the rest of the world doesn’t exist for them until they achieve it. Many triangles believe that the end justifies the means. But this is not about me. They prefer active rest. It’s difficult with them: they are impulsive, quick-tempered, freedom-loving, independent, categorical in their judgments, selfish, overly demanding and almost always right. They don’t tolerate lies. They instantly and, most importantly, correctly assess any situation and make decisions just as quickly. They like to bargain to the last. Triangles are leaders of any level. Workaholics are distinguished by high efficiency, but as they work, so they have fun to the fullest. They are prone to unjustified risk, there are many gamblers and all sorts of addicted people among them. True, triangles are most often engaged in sports. Their house is an exhibition of their achievements. They are fond of fashionable and beautiful things. Their temperament is choleric.”
“It was good for you, probably, to work together with Brother, since you are so alike.”
“For me, yes, it was, because I turned two triangles into a magical six-pointed star. But usually, Sasha, two triangles together form the worst combination possible. Especially when it comes to two women or two men. Since one of them have obviously to give way to the other, while they both want to remain the best and the only one to have the world revolving around. Conflict, fireworks of emotions, life on a volcano. In the end, I was able to give in to Brother. I really miss him, so my Subconscious is constantly searching for triangular people. But they are rare, much fewer than other geometric shapes.”
“Daphne, you say, you turned two triangles into a six-pointed star. What does it mean?”
“One of the most powerful magical tools. In Black Magic, it was used to summon Entities and Genies and control them. In ordinary life, few of the two triangles guess to turn their top in the opposite direction and turn the devastating struggle into the wisdom of King Solomon. Usually a woman must give in to a man, then their union will be the strongest of all possible combinations of other figures, indestructible, eternal, magical. But to combine two triangles into a magic sign is possible only by Love. The Upper Triangle consists of the higher three chakras responsible for connection with Another Reality, which, for example, I have developed. A triangle man is likely to have developed the lower three chakras of the Earthly Reality. Two triangles can be united into a single harmonious whole, if they communicate through the heart chakra, located between the Lower and Upper Triangles, it emanates the energy of Love. Nothing good will come out without Love. After all, the sign of the six-pointed star in a circle is not formed by merging two sides of triangles, when a rhombus-like figure is obtained, but in such a way that the triangles overlap each other, partially forming a certain common zone, conditionally in the area of ;;the heart chakra.”
“Stop, what does King Solomon have to do with it?”
“He had a ring with the inscription, ‘Everything passes, and this will pass too’. There was also a seal. Someone says it’s a pentagram, someone – a six-pointed star, an eight-pointed one, or a twelve-pointed. The sign of the six-pointed star is called the Star of David. Solomon is his son. It seems to me that on the seal of Solomon was six-pointed. It consisted of two equilateral triangles superimposed on each other so as to be enclosed in a circle. The circle is formed by the Serpent swallowing its own tail, the Egyptian symbol of Eternity. That is, if two forces, male and female, each in the Trinity – Spirit, Soul, Body, are in balance, they coexist forever and have magical power. The sign of the six-pointed star is actually of Indian origin. In India, it’s still the most significant symbol of Spirit and Matter, the emblem of Trimurti, the Trinity. The sign of the star was also called the seal of the god Vishnu. The top of the white triangle looks up, into the Sky, this triangle symbolizes the Spirit, the male principle, Divine Fire, and the second one, the black triangle, looks down, it’s Matter, the female principle, Water. The six-pointed star in a circle is the most powerful talisman.”
“Daphne, is your Stone Wall supposed to be a triangle?”
“I wish it were. Or a sphere. It’s better that a person is not an ordinary figure on a plane, but a three-dimensional one, that is, for example, not a triangle, but a pyramid. Even better, if not just a pyramid, but, for example, a pyramid inside a sphere or a cube. Of course, one of the figures is still predominant in a person, but it’s desirable to have the properties of others. The more complex the geometry of a person, the more versatile he is. But it doesn’t concern to all geometric figures, just to a triangle or a pyramid, a square or a cube, a circle or a sphere, and partly to a broken line, that is a zigzag-lightning, as well as to the sacred bodies of Plato: octahedron, icosahedron and dodecahedron.”
“Stop, Daphne… Let’s do it a bit at a time. The next figure on the plane is a square, because it’s made of already 4 lines, right?”
“Right. The square, like the cube, is a male figure, the most important, according to Pythagoras. Remember, they swore by the sacred number 4. So, square tends to be conservative in everything, including clothing. Likes comfort. Stands firmly on its feet. Has money, but saves rather than spends. As for professions, they are typical chief physicians, financial directors. The entire banking sector is occupied by squares. They like order, cleanliness, functionality, respect the rules and traditions. Squares, strictly following the logic, are based on numbers, statistics, facts, they prefer written speech, are fond of all kinds of reports. They don’t gesticulate, they keep a low profile, their faces are impassive, like those of a poker player. They avoid crowds of people, rarely laugh heartily. Patient, erudite, persistent, moderately industrious, rational. But, it happens that they are petty, and too pedantic, and overly stingy. They don’t have imagination, don’t understand jokes. Among the other figures, it’s the squares that require the complaint books. They lack flexibility, but at the same time they always keep their word and fulfill the promise. In critical situations, they are cold-blooded and calm. Many of them are collectors. They prefer passive rest. Their temperament is phlegmatic. Their whole life is scheduled according to a certain plan, programmed. Their behavior is easy to predict, because they act in patterns. I’m bored with squares.”
“I would run away from the square right away. What about the rectangle?”
“Although it’s formed by four lines, it’s a wrong figure for being not equilateral. It looks like not completed and should turn into some other figure, for example, into a square or a circle. Therefore, people-rectangles often have an unstable psyche, they are strange creatures in everything. In appearance, for example, they are distinguished by the complete inconsistency of the clothes of the situation, their age, fashion, and so on. Their inner world is full of insoluble contradictions. The internal conflict is reflected both at work, where the table is always littered with unsorted rubbish, and their home is like the station. A bunch of unnecessary, broken things are at hand, but it’s impossible to find what you need. Total chaos. Because of their badger psychology, they never throw anything away. They are clumsy, they speak out of place, they gesticulate sharply and abruptly, they have a running gaze, a nervous laugh. Rectangles rush about, looking for something, but they don’t know for what exactly. They are more often overexcited, inconsistent, easily suggestible, emotionally unstable, too sensitive. They blame themselves, because their self-esteem is too low. They suffer from forgetfulness, lack of punctuality, it’s difficult for them to concentrate. They get tired quickly, don’t like quarrels, but constantly get into conflict situations. Unsure of themselves, shy. They like popular science lectures, often work as teachers. There are many energy vampires among them. Their temperament is melancholic. If a person after forty years remains a rectangle, he has a mental deviation.”
“Listen, it’s definitely not your choice! And I need to stay away from them, too. What about the five-pointed star?”
“The five-pointed star in psychology is not a type of person, although there are exactly five psychotypes. As a geometric figure, it’s weaker than a six-pointed one, but it’s one of the symbols of Initiation and a symbol of a perfect person, the Microcosm, since a person has five limbs and can be represented as a five-pointed star.”
“God bless it, better tell me about the fifth psychotype.”
“Zigzag, or lightning. Complex and creative people can be attributed to them. The problem of choosing clothes for the current day doesn’t exist for them, they put on what they reach for in the morning. They like eclecticism in everything, they prefer bright, unusual, artsy, unique. Their vocabulary is a mixture of scientific words and street slang, often favorite words are ‘super’, ‘cool’, ‘wow’ and so on. They speak quickly, easily jumping from one topic to another. They hate paperwork, reports, details, a strict work schedule from 9 to 6, for example. They prefer a creative approach, expressive, inquisitive. They like everything new, extraordinary. They are witty, dreamy, prefer directness and, being unrestrained, prone to disputes and even scandals. They don’t bend under others. Disorganized, unpunctual, inconsistent. As a rule, they cannot sit quietly in one place for a long time, they begin to break themselves in a cascade of various poses. They aren’t disturbed by the mess, but, unlike rectangles, this is their creative mess, in which they will always and quickly enough find what they need. They don’t keep unnecessary and old things in the house. They give the impression of very busy people, have a wide circle of friends, they make friends quickly and just as quickly part. They are fond of whatever parties. Easily lit up with ideas, they lose all interest in them after a while. They prefer to work alone. If they become leaders, they provide maximum freedom in the work of subordinates and, as a rule, don’t keep a distance.”
“You are a pyramid in a sphere pierced by lightning, right?”
“My basic figure is a triangle-pyramid, but I have got a sphere-circle, or rather, over the years, I have acquired some of its useful properties for smoothing sharp corners and have partially the properties of a lightning-zigzag in terms of creativity. A friend of mine is a pure zigzag. I can’t say that this is bad, but in many ways we are two opposites. True, lately she has grown into a sphere a little bit.”
“Isn’t that cool to see, Daphne?”
“It’s cool because I don’t see, when I say that I see, I just feel it, that is, I know it, and then I visualize the figures, having known what to visualize.”
“What other figures did you paint as the sacred bodies of Plato?”
“There are six figures in sacred geometry, five basic ones plus the Sphere. Any Plato’s figure has characteristic features: all its faces are equal, the internal angles between adjacent faces are equal, too, the edges are of the same length. All figures fit into the Sphere in such a way that each of their vertices touches its surface. The cube symbolizes the element of Earth. The tetrahedron is a pyramid that consists of four equilateral triangles and a square at the base, means the element of Fire. The octahedron consists of two pyramids of four triangles, the base is a square, the symbol of Air. The icosahedron has twenty faces, consists of triangles, symbolizes the element of Water. The dodecahedron is made up of twelve pentagons, means Ether and, according to Plato, is the figure on the basis of which our Universe is built. They also say that the Dodecahedron and Icosahedron are related with our DNA. The Sphere is the most important female figure, while the Cube is the male one. They have the same property: they can accommodate the rest of Plato’s figures and each other in a symmetrical way. There is also the Cube of Metatrone, in which five main Plato’s figures can be found at once. Any form of crystal is a derivative of one of the Plato’s figures. But there is another interesting thing, a spiral. It shows the eternal development of everything that exists, both visible and invisible.”
We approached the hotel.
“Daphne, tell me, who am I?”
“You have to answer this question yourself.”
“Why?”
“It’s important who you ;;feel you are, and not what someone else thinks of you.”
