Why can't you see my point of view?
Why can't you calm yourself anew?
Why waste our strength on fights so silly,
When all I want's to love you fully?
To love you 'til the mountains bend,
To love you 'til the tomatoes tend,
To be with you, each waking hour,
And hold your hand with loving power.
To look on you from up above,
To gaze on you with endless love,
So that our life will never cease,
I long to be a single piece.
But I don't want to lose my way,
But I am losing day by day
And not only because I love you so,
My larger self begins to go.
It fades away, becomes more slight,
And more and more I'm taking flight,
Becoming human, yes, it's true,
But not the kind that needs to breathe anew.
My little friend, what can I do?
I don't know how to unite you two
I don't know how to come back to be you
And suddenly it becomes so easy to breathe
