I spoke in echoes, loud and clear,
Every word you wished not to hear,
Flinging love without a shroud -
Forte, I loved you way too loud.

Crashing through the fragile sky,
Burning bright though doomed to die.

Forte, I loved you too loud,
Shaking walls, a thundercloud,
Every scream, a bitter vow,
Lost in noise, but I don’t know how -
Forte, I loved you too loud.

I chased the sound, you pulled away,
Too much to give, I lost the way.
Words like fire I couldn’t sway,
Drowning in a wild display.

Or let our love just crash and drown?

Fading now, the final sound,
In the quiet, lost and bound,
Forte's echo, bittersweet shroud -
