Fingers tremble on the wire,
Whispers caught in tangled fire,
Every beat a fragile gun -
Heartstrings snap one by one.

Silent cracks beneath the sound,
Breaking slowly, falling down.

Heartstrings snap one by one,
Shattered echoes under the sun,
Pieces fall, nowhere to run,
Our song undone, undone -
Heartstrings snap one by one.

We danced on edges, sharp and cold,
Promises lost, stories told,
Every touch began to fold,
A fragile bond no one could hold.

Silent cracks beneath the sound,

Pieces fall, nowhere to run,
Our song undone, undone -
Heartstrings snap one by one.

Words like glass that pierce the night,
Fading love, no more light,
In the silence, lost the fight,
Tangled webs that choke the right.

If I could mend the broken tunes,
Catch the tears beneath the moons,
Would you stay or drift too soon,
Or leave me with these shattered runes?

Strings undone, the music fades,
Empty halls and hollow shades,
One by one, the silence raids -
Heartstrings snapped, love’s masquerades.
