Eternal Russia is eternally
True to itself.
Whoever rules it, -
A Tsar, a dictatorial leader,
Or some other temporary ruler, -
Its main leitmotif is:
"Eat mushroom pies,
Keep your mouth shut,"
And otherwise, always,
Everywhere -
"I am the boss, you are a fool,
You are the boss, I am a fool."
And "When the master arrives,
the master will judge us."
Eternal Russia is eternally
True to itself
And therefore worthy
of its destiny,
As in other
Countries of all
People have been worthy
since ancient times
of their rulers,
As Socrates told his disciples
35 centuries ago
before us.

РОССИЯ ВЕЧНАЯ ИЗВЕЧНАЯ.

Россия вечная извечно
Верна сама себе.
Кто б не рулил в ней, -
Царь ли, Вождь-диктатор,
Временные ли какие, -
В ней главнвй лейт-мотив -
"Ешь пироги  с грибами,
 Держи язык за зубами",
А в остальном, всегда,
Повсюду -
"Я начальник, - ты дурак,
 ты начальник, - я дурак"
Да "Вот приедет барин, -
    барин нас рассудит",
Россия вечная
Извечно
Верна сама себе
И оттого судьбы своей достойна,
Как в прочих
Странах всех
Народ достоин издревле
Своих правителей,
Как говорил ученикам своим
Сократ назад еще до нас
За 35 столетий.
