276 Routine

When you're stuck in a dead-end street
And nature's charm just can't be found,
No progress, sinking like a stone,
You feel it all so damn profound.
Weariness piles up, your whole body aches,
Your soul's dragging its feet, barely makes it through,
Time will pass and memories will wake:
Need some kick, but there's none left for you!

Daily crap, same old grind,
Chewing us up, day and night,
That routine inside's burning wild,
Can't put out the her fire!
Like a bee you're darting 'round,
But spiderwebs hold you tight,
Routine's wide awake, no rest,
Knocking again at your door.

Resentments flare, laziness grows,
Wanna quit, got no strength left,
Doubt's seed sprouts inside your chest,
Someone wants you broken and bereft.
Routine everywhere, the story's stuck,
How to move, feel your way, just walk?
The tunnel's got no spark in sight,
That beacon that guided gone dark.

Daily crap, same old grind,
Chewing us up, day and night,
That routine inside's burning wild,
Can't put out the her fire!
Like a bee you're darting 'round,
But spiderwebs hold you tight,
Routine's wide awake, no rest,
Knocking again at your door.

When you're sure things won't get better,
Why push on, what's the damn use?
Let go now, life sorts things out,
Points your way, shows your truth.
Look inside, answers wait in you,
You're brought here for some cause,
Routine vanish like cigarette smoke,
And you won't walk alone.

So what now, gotta embrace it,
Find the joy, take a bite,
Get your pleasure, charge your soul,
Feel each moment, emotions ignite,
Change the game inside this hole,
Beat the routine, win the fight.
