Nationality

What is a nationality
For the one who is in love
With the world's bright vitality
Its rich culture- high above,

Who inhaled so deeply the freshness
Of frosty mountain air in France,
While watching under him, motionless,
Old towns hidden in foggy clouds…

Who bathed in the tulips seas
Of cosy old Holland,
Tasting its cheerfulness
As youth that's one so fond of…

Who was caressed by wild winds
Of Denmark,
Whose address was in three countries
As one,
Head over heels with Achen’s magnolias ,
Of Spanish waters who felt azure waves,

Who rode horses in Russian plains,
Who has the scent of herbs in veins,-
He doesn't need a nationality,
For he believes in pure humanity!
