FROM THE RUSSIAN TSAR-CANNONS
AND THE TSAR-BELL
TO RUSSIAN DRONES
AND «HAZELNUT».

(Review and response to the poem
 by Anatoly TIMASHOV, a poet and composer
 "Drones in Europe...").

          "Russia is not a trading country,
           nor is it an industrial one.
           Russia's calling is to be a terror to the world."

                Tsar Alexander III.

To scare their enemies,
the Russians cast
the Tsar Cannon in ancient times.
There it stood, silently
for centuries,
After a single
shot with gran-buckshot, -
(like a scarecrow in a garden), -
Until tsar Alexander III
explained the meaning
of its standing in the Kremlin:
"Russia's calling is to be a thunderstorm
 for all the countries of the world."
Since then, it continues
to stand where it stood,
from those ancient times
to the Era, -
(following the title of A. TOLSTOY's poem), -
"From Timashov to the present day."

And these days,
Drones, unarmed and armed,
are flying into Western Europe,
(including Ukraine), crafted by
the descendants of those Russians,
who cast both the Tsar-Cannon,
which never fired at the enemy,
and the Tsar-Bell,
which never rang the alarm,
and never called the Russians to meet the enemy.

Лев ПОСТОЛОВ

ОТ РОССИЙСКИХ ЦарЬ-ПУШКИ
ДА ЦарЬ-КОЛОКОЛА
ДО РОССИЙСКИХ ДРОНов
И “ОРЕШНИКА”.
 (Рецензия-отклик на стихотворение
  СостихирянинА Анатолия ТИМАШОВА
  «Дроны в Европе..»).


          «Россия не торговая страна и не промышленная.
           Призвание России - быть грозой миру».

                Царь Александр Ш-ий.


Чтоб попугать врагов
Отлили россияне
В древности Царь-пушку.
Стояла та стояла
Века молча,
После единственного
Выстрела Gran-дробью, -
(как пугало на огороде),-
Покуда Александр Ш-тий
Смысл стояния ее того в КремлЕ
Не объяснил:
«Призвание России -
 БытЬ ГрозоЙ
 всем странам мира».
С того она и продолжает
Там стоять, где простояла -
С древних тех времен
До Эры, -
(следуя названию поэмы
 А.ТОЛСТОГО ), -
«От ТимашовА до наших дней».
А в наши дни
Летят в Европу западную, -
(начиная с УкраИны), -
Не снаряженные
И снаряженные боеприпасом
ДРОНЫ, сработанные
Потомками тех россиян,
Что отливали как Царь-пушку, -
По врагам ни разу не стрелявшую,
Так и Царь-Колокол,
Ни разу в набат не позвонивший
И россиян навстречу врагам
Не позвавший.
