We live in fear without insurens

WE LIVE IN FEAR
WITHOUT INSURANCE.

For centuries,
Learned men have been saying
That in the Cosmos
of the Universe
Our little ball
Is suspended "ON NOTHING." -
It rests
On the force of interactions
Of different planets
And stars.

Here, just give me
A fulcrum
And I will turn our Earth over,
As Archimedes threatened, -
If trouble befalls earthlings
I will find a big lever.

But while I'm finding
The lever,
We can all
Get into trouble,
If some foolish ruler
Or scoundrel
Suddenly, in his foolishness
Presses the red button
In his suitcase
And sends us all at once
To the address, -
Know to everyone
Since childhood.

ЖИВЕМ, ЗемлянЕ
МЫ В СТРАХЕ
БЕЗ СТРАХОВКИ.

Твердят века
Ученые мужи
Что в Космосе Вселенной
Шарик наш
Подвешен «НИ НА ЧЕМ». -
Он держится
На силе взаимодействий
Разных планет
И звезд.

Вот, дайте только
Точку мне опоры
И нашу ЗемлЮ я
Переверну,
Как грозился Архимед, -
Коль землянам на беду
Я рычаг большой
Найду.

Но пока рычаг найду
Все мы можем
Встрять в беду,
Коль какой
Дурак ВысокиЙ
Или какая сволочь
Нажмет вдруг
В чемоданчике своем
Красную кнопку
И нас всех разом
Пошлет по всем известному
Нам с детства
Адресу.
