all indicated that the house was imperceptibly waking up and cautiously eyeing its new owner
. The wind was playing with the curtain and tapping the hanging kitchen appliances
. Who are you? the stranger, who deserved such attention
, got up from his chair, which responded with a neat creak of old leather
, slowly approached the clouded mirror that stood in the dark corner of the living room and began to stare intently into its gloom until then....
until the one in it smiled at him with his gloomy smile, assuring him that everything they had planned in the diary lying on the green cloth would certainly come true.
