Spring s Promise
The winter’s breath draws near, unseen.
Don’t sorrow, love, though skies are gray,
For spring will chase the chill away.
Together we will brave the snow,
Through frost and gale, through winds that blow.
Till first birds sing on tender wing,
And melting streams in sunlight ring.
All seasons dance in nature’s hand,
Yet dearest when the thaw is planned
When winter fades in soft retreat,
And spring awakens, warm and sweet.
New life unfolds in every hue,
The trees, the flowers, fresh with dew.
The sun returns, the birds take flight,
The world is bathed in golden light.
Spring is the heart where all begins,
Where hope takes root and longing spins.
With blooms that gleam and skies so bright,
We soar as one in pure delight.
Oh, cherish all this world bestows,
The rivers wide, the breeze that flows.
Unite, oh friends, with hearts aflame,
To guard its grace, to praise its name.
