Late Blooming Love
No treasure shines so bright, so true,
As waking to the light, the weight
Of love that gleams within her view.
We’ll walk together, hand in hand,
No other riches do we crave,
Just this—to feel her glances land
Like petals soft, my soul to save.
The years may silver both our hair,
Yet time has never felt so sweet,
For every dawn, she’s standing there—
Her eyes my sun, my heart’s retreat.
No gold nor glory could replace
The warmth within her tender gaze,
A silent vow, a sweet embrace,
A fire time cannot erase.
Through twilight’s hush or morning’s glow,
We’ll tread the path where love has led,
With every step, my heart will know
Her light is all I need ahead.
So let the world drift far away,
No grander dream could ever be—
Just this, just her, just every day
Her eyes still soft and set on me.
Love is a holy, boundless fire,
The strongest force the stars admire.
The happiest soul the earth has known
Is one whose heart has made it home.
A sacred light, both fierce and bright,
It lifts the dark and heals the night.
To taste its grace, to feel its call—
Is heaven’s gift, the greatest of all.
